On behalf of the Office of Assemblymember Lisa Calderon, we are excited to announce that, for the first time in 2 years, we will be hosting the 2022 57th Assembly District College & Career Fair in person*.


We invite you to join over 50 college and career representatives as they offer resources to aspiring college and technical education students. Additionally, workshops will be available in both English and Spanish. This event is in partnership with the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District and the Boys and Girls Club of West San Gabriel Valley & Eastside.

2022 Participants and Workshop Locations

Students who begin at a community college and transfer to a 4-year-college or university graduate at a rate that is equal to or higher than students who start as freshmen at the university. Learn more about the benefits of continuing your education at a community college.

DREAMer Resources - Room E13

This workshop is designed to show students and parents the financial, academic and social support available at numerous college and university campuses throughout California. It will help you navigate the higher education system and dispel some of its myths.

Career Technical Education Programs - Hacienda-La Puente Adult Education - Room E12

Career Technical Education Programs are the fast track to your future career! The Hacienda-La Puente Adult Education offers a variety of career-training programs to ensure you have the education and skills required in today's competitive economy. Learn how we can prepare you to be part of a skilled workforce with high wage employment potential. We will showcase our Culinary Arts Academy, Cosmetology, Trades, Business and Health Career Programs.

The CSU System - Before, During and After the Application - Little Theater

Leave this workshop with an understanding of what to prepare for on the CSU application, how to avoid common mistakes, and the importance of following through after the application process.

Feria Anual de Carreras Y Universidades del Distrito 57 de la Asamblea

La asambleísta Lisa Calderon será la anfitriona de la Feria de Carreras y Universidades del distrito 57 de la asamblea en persona*.

En conjunto con el Distrito Escolar Unificado Hacienda La Puente y el Boys and Girls Club de West San Gabriel Valley & Eastside, la Feria invita a más de 50 representantes universitarios y profesionales para ofrecer recursos para estudiantes. Los talleres estarán disponibles en inglés y español.
